Rejuvenate Cleanser
Gentle, nourishing and replenishing non-foaming organic cleanser for dry or mature skin. Organic hydrosols, carrier oils, plant extracts, and rich cleansers and emollients are chosen to gently cleanse, nourish and support the lipid layer of skin, keeping it supple.
Rejuvenate Exfoliant
Gentle, nourishing and replenishing non-foaming organic cleanser with exfoliating jojoba beads for dry or mature skin. Organic hydrosols, carrier oils, plant extracts, and rich cleansers and emollients are chosen to gently cleanse, nourish and support the lipid layer of skin, keeping it supple.
Use this instead of the Rejuvenate Cleanser as required. For very sensitive skin, weekly may be sufficient. Exfoliating action is created with gentle jojoba esters (beads). Avoid vigorous rubbing which could damage skin.
Soothe Cleanser
Gentle, soothing and balancing non-foaming organic cleanser for sensitive or combination skin. Organic hydrosols, carrier oils, plant extracts, and soothing cleansers and emollients are chosen to gently cleanse, balance and support the lipid layer of skin, keeping it supple.
Suitable also for normal skin and oily skin which benefits from balancing ingredients.
Soothe Exfoliant
Gentle, soothing and balancing non-foaming cleanser with exfoliating jojoba beads, for sensitive or combination skin. Organic hydrosols, carrier oils, plant extracts, and soothing cleansers and emollients are chosen to gently cleanse, balance and support the lipid layer of skin, keeping it supple.
Suitable also for normal skin and oily skin which benefits from balancing ingredients.
Clean Face
Clean Face is a mild but effective foaming cleanser for normal, oily or troubled skin. We are reluctant to make foaming cleansers for the face, since most of them strip oil from the skin and result in even more oiliness. However, we have made this one with mild and naturally derived surfactants (foaming detergents) and have added lots of emollients and sucrose cocoate, a naturally derived product which helps avoid stripping the lipid layer. You can feel the soft cushiony effect after using this cleanser - the face is not pitted and stripped, just well cleansed. The essential oils are chosen to gently disinfect and soothe troubled skin. However, even people with dry skin enjoy using this cleanser.
Use only a tiny amount!
Gentle Foaming Cleanser For Dry Skin
We actually believe a non-foaming cleanser such as our organic ones or Creamy Avocado Cleanser is best for really dry or sensitive skin. But some people just don't believe that skin can be clean without bubbles! So, Gentle Foaming Cleanser for Dry Skin is our attempt to make a foaming cleanser which doesn't strip oil from the skin (which most do). We have made this one with very mild and naturally derived surfactants (foaming detergents) and have added lots of emollients and sucrose cocoate, a naturally derived product which helps avoid stripping the lipid layer. You can feel the soft cushiony effect after using this cleanser - the face is not pitted and stripped, just well cleansed. The essential oils and extracts are chosen to soothe dry skin.
Use only a tiny amount!
Hibiscus & Lotus Facial Scrub
This is a really gentle facial scrub for sensitive skin, in a beautiful emulsified pure virgin coconut and organic shea butter base, with castor sugar, finely ground bamboo, lotus seed and hibiscus and gentle essential oils similar to the Venus range.
180 gm in a PET clear plastic pot.
Ubtan Kapha Cleansing Powder
Totally natural, gentle, toxin free facial cleanser made from finely ground grains and herbs. Suitable for normal to oily, or sluggish skin which may have large pores.
Mix 1 teaspoon to a paste with diluted lemon/lime juice, lemongrass tea, yoghurt or water. Gently massage in and rinse well.
Ubtan Pitta Cleansing Powder
Totally natural, gentle, toxin free facial cleanser made from finely ground grains and herbs. Suitable for blemished or troubled skin of any type, including acne.
Mix 1 teaspoon to a paste with water, yoghurt, milk or dilute lemon/lime juice. Gently massage in and rinse well.
Ubtan Vata Cleansing Powder
Totally natural, gentle, toxin free facial cleanser made from finely ground grains and herbs. Suitable for normal or dry skin (which is most of our customers!).
Mix 1 teaspoon to a paste in a small mixing bowl with milk, water or rosewater. Add a few drops of oil if skin is very dry. Gently massage in and rinse clean.
