Mail Order Information
Orders may be made via this website or by phone, fax, email or snail mail.
Payment Policy
First orders must be paid for in advance. If using credit card, we will phone you for details (note that credit cards incur a 2% fee). Alternatively, you are welcome to phone us. Otherwise, you can post a cheque or money order, or deposit directly into our account. Once payment is received, we will send the goods. For faster processing of funds transfer we do accept emailed or faxed EFT receipts.
We treasure and trust our customers and will happily send out orders to returning customers with invoice enclosed for payment by direct deposit or cheque/postal order on receipt. However, please use the phone for credit card payments, or request a call back in the Comments box and we'll call you. Please do not attempt to send any credit details online.
Naturally, we may choose not to send a new order before you have paid for a previous one.
Freight, Packing and Despatch
Despite our isolation in Broome, we pride ourselves on speedy despatch of mail orders, so you can expect to receive your goods within 3-5 working days after completing your order, unless a product is out of stock and needs to be made. In this case, we will notify you.
We use the courier Australian Air Express for efficient, reliable delivery anywhere in Australia. Freight is calculated automatically by weight in this website, and is charged to you at cost. Secure packaging does add extra weight, so that is included in the calculation. Costs to any Australian location are:
3 kg (eg. maximum 24 soaps) $15
5 kg (eg. maximum 42 soaps) $20, or multiples of these for larger orders
Also, Australia Post 500gm Express bags $10.00 for small orders (eg. 3 soaps or 1 large jar).
We need to put ATL (“Authority to Leave”) stickers on all our Australian Air Express bags, so the courier is authorised to leave packages even if nobody is home. If you prefer to avoid possible theft from an unattended home address, use either a PO box address (a notification card will be left in the box) or a work address.
For international orders, we will calculate the cost of postage and confirm with you before proceeding with despatch.
We attempt to package everything securely and firmly in recycled boxes but the latest planes do fly higher, sometimes causing leakage of essential oils and liquids. We now use “TRAVEL SAFE” closures – either pumps or screw top caps on our liquid products.
If your lotion has a screw cap we also supply you with an extra press disc cap to replace it with for easier application. The general rule is, pumps on all bottles of 250 or 475ml size, and TRAVEL SAFE screw caps plus supplied disc caps on 50 and 125ml sizes. We tape most products and enclose essential oils in ziplock bags to guard against leakage.
